ELLICOTT POLICE

– Dustin A. McChesney, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with speed in zone, consuming cannabis in a motor vehicle, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Oct. 19. Ellicott police responded to a speeding vehicle on Allen Street Extension and allege McChesney was speeding while having burning cannabis in his vehicle. It was determined that McChesney’s driver’s license was suspended. A small quantity of methamphetamine was located in the vehicle McChesney’s was operating. McChesney will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Cassandra L. Dickerson, 35, of Kennedy was charged with third-degree grand larceny and second-degree forgery on Oct. 31. Ellicott police report investigating a fraud complaint where it is alleged Dickerson took more than $3,000 from a local youth club and forged a check to herself out of the club’s account. Dickerson will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Michael J. Thompson, 35, of Falconer was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree coercion on Oct. 20 after Ellicott police responded to a domestic disturbance in Falconer. Thompson was charged and taken to the county jail for CAP arraignment. Thompson will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Jacob A Trippy, 31, of Jamestown was arrested on a warrant for fourth-degree grand larceny on Oct. 29. Ellicott police responded to an address in Jamestown where it is alleged that Trippy had an active warrant out of the Ellicott Police Department. Trippy was stopped by Jamestown Police Department for a street check. Trippy was then turned over to the Ellicott Police Department for the active arrest warrant. Trippy will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Lea C. Talbot, 34 , of Dover, N.H., was charged with second-degree harassment and resisting arrest on Sunday at 3 a.m. after Ellicott police responded to a Falconer home. It’s alleged Talbot threatened a resident of the home with violence that was not related to her. Talbot then allegedly resisted arrest when attempting to place her in custody. Talbot was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment and will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Zedakiah J.R. Pratz, 20, of Warren was charged with being a fugitive from justice at 6:28 p.m. Thursday after city police officers responded to a north side business for a suspicious person. Pratz was allegedly seen standing outside of the door to the business after hours. Pratz was found to have an active warrant out of Warren County, Pa. Pratz was taken to the city jail without incident and charged.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– MAYVILLE – Dion James Carr, 39, of Buffalo was charged Tuesday with first-degree promoting prison contraband. Carr, who is housed at the county jail, allegedly had a cut up razorblade in his cell.
