DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Mark Szocki, 63, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 7 and charged with petit larceny. He was also arrested Nov. 9 and charged with petit larceny.
— Julio Cruz-Hernandez, 29, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 7 and charged with second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
— Wilfredo Hernandez-Mercado, 41, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 7 and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
— Filemon Herrera-Diaz, 42, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 7 and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no or inadequate lights.
— Antony Alvarez, 20, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 7 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

— Thomas Majkowski, 49, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 16 and charged with petit larceny.
— Victoria Rodriguez Vazquez, 28, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 17 and charged with operating with suspended registration, operating without vehicle interlock, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and operating without insurance.
— Carlos Figueroa, 49, of Dunkirk, was arrested Nov. 18 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
CHAUTAUQUA — At around 5:30 p.m. Nov. 16, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident on Plank Road. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Rusty Ernewein, 51, of Randolph. Further investigation found Ernewein to be driving while intoxicated.
Ernewein was charged with DWI, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failing to keep right. Ernewein will answer for his charges later.
