CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– MAYVILLE – Juan A. Tufino, 33, of Jamestown and currently incarcerated in the county jail was charged Sunday with second-degree assault. He allegedly was involved in a physical altercation with another inmate.
– MAYVILLE – George A Diramio, 33, of Niagara Falls was charged Wednesday around 1:50 a.m. with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding and unsafe turn without a turn signal following a traffic stop on North Erie Street in the village. Diramio was released with tickets to appear in the town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.
DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Donna Ojeda, 53, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 11 and charged with disorderly conduct.
— Kristin Monsour, 38, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 12 and charged with third-degree arson.
— Jordan Pound, 33, of Ripley, was arrested Dec. 12 and charged with petit larceny.
— Jeremy Sobilo, 21, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 13 and charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated.
— Darryl Watkins, no age listed, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 14 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and four vehicle and traffic law infractions.
— Peter Galardo, 43, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 14 and charged with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, and single counts of second-degree criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree harassment.
— Jessica Ayala Valentin, 37, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 15 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving with suspended registration.
— Alexander Santiago, 49, homeless, was arrested Dec. 15 and charged with petit larceny.
— John Liddick, 36, of Dunkirk, was arrested (no date provided) and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree harassment.
— Miguel Fernandez-Gonzalez, 30, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 17 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with suspended registration, driving without insurance, and uninspected motor vehicle.
— Robert San George, 66, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 19 and charged with second-degree harassment.
— Christopher Moerman, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 21 and charged with trespass.
— Brandon Echevarria, 32, of Fredonia, was arrested Dec. 23 and charged with two counts of petit larceny.
— Vedran Juricevic, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 25 and charged with two counts of second-degree strangulation and single counts of first-degree criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing, petit larceny, second-degree menacing and second- degree harassment. He was also charged with three vehicle and traffic law infractions related to his bicycle, and a city law violation for being on the beach area of a city park after hours.
— Christian Ayala-Gonzalez, homeless, was arrested Dec. 27 and charged with petit larceny.
— Francisco Roman, 42, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 28 and charged with fourth- degree criminal mischief and two counts of trespass.
— Bryan Postlowski, 38, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged with second- degree aggravated unlicensed operation and eight vehicle and traffic law infractions.
— Brittany Wallace, 32, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged with second-degree harassment.
— Vincent Rios, no age listed, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 31 and charged with second-degree harassment.
— Mariah Ponville, 32, of Dunkirk, was arrested Dec. 31 and charged with second-degree harassment.
ELLICOTT POLICE
— Dakota J. Gibbon, 36, of Cassadaga was charged with petit larceny on Dec. 23 after Ellicott police officers responded to a reported shoplifting. Gibbons allegedly entered Target and removed items without paying for them. Gibbon will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
— Angela B. Peru, 30, of Cassadaga was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance Dec. 23 after Ellicott police responded to a reported shoplifting. Peru was charged with petit larceny and then allegedly was found in possession of a crystal like substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. The store did not pursue petit larceny charges for Peru. Peru will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
— Louquavis Q. Dyer, 25, of Kiantone was charged with second-degree criminal contempt Dec. 22 after Ellicott police responded to a domestic disturbance in the police department parking lot, where it is alleged Dyer was violating a valid stay away order of protection. Dyer will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE
— Angel M. Figueroa Jr., 28, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 7:33 p.m. Dec. 31. Officers report pulling a vehicle over for being driven with no head lights or tail lights. Figueroa Jr. allegedly was found to have a valid stay away order of protection with the passenger of the vehicle. Figueroa Jr. was taken into custody without incident and taken to the city jail until arraignment.
— Zachary Hamby, 19, of Jamestown was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday after police responded to a domestic dispute in the street on the north side of the city. During the investigation, Hamby arrived at the scene and allegedly approached officers aggressively, shoving one of them. Hamby was charged after continuing to fight. He was taken to the city jail and later released with an appearance ticket.
— Dominick Harrison, 24, of Jamestown was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing at 12:14 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to a domestic dispute on the east side of Jamestown. During the investigation, officers determined Harrison allegedly grabbed a woman by the neck, which impeded her breathing. Additionally, officers learned that Harrison and the woman both had active warrants for endangering the welfare of a child. Both were arrested and taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned.
