Three nabbed after drugs, weapons probe
Three Jamestown residents are facing several drug and weapons charges.
After a long-term narcotics investigation in the city of Jamestown by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department, Jamestown Police Department, and Dunkirk Police Department, Frank C. Nazario, Joliet A. Santos-Guzman, and Gabriel A. Galan-Alvarez were arrested Monday.
During the execution of two search warrants at about 9:30 a.m. at 40A Shirley Lane, and 58 McKinley St., investigators seized 298.8 grams of cocaine, scales, packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, two handguns, one assault rifle, and $4,984 in cash.
Nazario was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, five counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and first-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
Santos-Guzman was charged with two counts of third-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, five counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
Galan-Alvarez was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a firearm, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
All three were arraigned in Jamestown City Court.
