SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– VILLENOVA – Tucker J.R. Bauer, 20, of Pomfret was charged Sunday morning with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that Bauer was involved in an altercation around 10:30 a.m. at an unspecified address on Route 83. Tucker was placed in custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment. He will answer the charges in the Town of Villenova court at a later date.

– POLAND – Amanda X. Wickstrom, 36, of Falconer was taken to UPMC Chautauqua after being involved in a motor vehicle accident. According to deputies, around 9:15 a.m. they responded to a crash on Route 394 after Wickstrom apparently failed to negotiate a curve in the road correctly and went off the road, causing her vehicle to overturn. She was evaluated by EMS personnel on scene before being transferred to the hospital. She was issued unspecified motor vehicle tickets and will answer to her charges in the Town of Poland Court at a later date.

— LeAnne White, 41, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 21 and charged with petit larceny.

— Christopher Moerman, 35, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 22 and charged with second-degree harassment, second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree obstruction and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

— Franklin Gelster, 27, of South Dayton, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating without insurance.

— Al’Tarique Mitchell, 32, of Rochester, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and three vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Peter Galardo, 43, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

— Jonathan Rodriguez, 38, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 24 and charged with petit larceny.

— Francisco Roman, 43, homeless, was arrested Jan. 24 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and five counts of trespass.

— Tina Schroeder, 23, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 25 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating with registration suspended, and operating without insurance.

— Stephen Falkner, 36, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 25 and charged with petit larceny.

— Christina Silva, 36, of Fredonia, was arrested Jan. 24 and charged with operating with suspended registration and operating without insurance.

— Calvin Maxwell, 52, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 26 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

— Vanessa Stevens, 34, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with second-degree assault and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

— Timothy Banach, no age listed, of Fredonia, was arrested Jan. 27 and charged with petit larceny.

— Leanne Moore, 38, of Fredonia, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with second- degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and three vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Brandon Echevarria, 33, of Fredonia, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and four counts of petit larceny.

— Reynaldo Davila Del Hoyo, 30, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with operating with suspended registration.

— Gabriel Lagares-Padilla, 26, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with operating with suspended registration.

— Jennifer Sullivan, 39, of Fredonia, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle, and insufficient tail lamps.

— Christian Ayala, 37, homeless, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with petit larceny.

— Shannon Grover, 43, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with petit larceny.

— Calvin Passmore, 28, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with 11 vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Darryl Bray, 45, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with tampering with physical evidence, second-degree harassment, and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

— Bonney Keem, 42, of North Collins, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with tampering with physical evidence, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Eric Damrath, 43, of North Collins, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with tampering with physical evidence and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

— James Howard, 31, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with second- degree aggravated unlicensed operation and three vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Jordan Pound, 33, homeless, was arrested Jan. 31 and charged with petit larceny.

— Marlo Carter, 41, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with tampering with physical evidence, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second- degree obstruction, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and six vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Allison Kozlowski, 45, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with tampering with physical evidence and second- degree obstruction.

— Ryan Cerrie, 19, of Fredonia, was arrested Feb. 2 and charged with operating with suspended registration.

— Jonathan Vega-Rivera, 32, homeless, was arrested Feb. 2 and charged with second-degree harassment.

— Metzael Colon, 42, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 1 and charged with third- degree aggravated unlicensed operation and four vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Jhonaffer Torrers-Rodriguez, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 3 and charged with second-degree harassment.

— Josue Roldan Rosario, 20, of Dunkirk, was arrested Wednesday and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and insufficient tail lamps.

— Cassandra Jackson, 23, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and inadequate plate lamps.

— Christopher Marcinowski, 38, of Fredonia, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree reckless endangerment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Dominic L. Canale, 22, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 5 p.m. Thursday after city police officers were conducting a warrant check on the city’s south side. Officers report seeing Canale in a person’s home knowing Canale had a valid stay away order of protection with the victim. Canale was charged, prompting a police search during which officers allegedly found a small amount of methamphetamine. Canale was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Timothy G. Press, 37, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 8 p.m. Sunday after city police officers responded to a home on the west side for a reported domestic dispute. Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with a person who said Press allegedly punched a hole in the wall inside of the residence during the course of the domestic dispute. Press was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Nathan A. Abers, 51, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI, DWI per se and vehicle and traffic violations at 12:15 a.m. Friday after officers pulled a vehicle over on East Fifth Street near Potters Alley. Abers was allegedly under the influence of alcohol while driving after his driver’s license had been revoked for a prior DWI. Abers was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– William R. Rodriguez, 53, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia at 10:04 p.m. Thursday after city police officers responded to an east side home to assist the U.S. Probation Office with a federal probation check. Officers made contact and a search of the residence was completed which allegedly yielded 26.7 grams of cocaine, packaging materials, digital scales and an amount of U.S. currency suspected to be proceeds of narcotic sales. Rodriguez was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned. Additional federal charges are expected.

– Brittany A. Smith, 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 4:29 p.m. Wednesday after officers pulled a vehicle over on the city’s north side. According to a police report there were two people in the vehicle, with Smith allegedly having a valid stay away order of protection with the driver of the vehicle. Smith was taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.

– Daniel M. Baird, 49, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers at a north side business saw Baird outside knowing he had a valid arrest warrant issued by Jamestown City Court. Baird was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Three city residents were charged after a traffic stop at 1:46 a.m. Thursday after officers pulled a vehicle over for an alleged traffic infraction on East Second Street near Kipp Street. The driver, Devan Huntington, 30, of Jamestown, and passengers Janie K. Blakey, 27, and Tracy L. Griffin, 43, of Jamestown, were all allegedly found in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. According to a police report Blakey allegedly attempted to provide officers with a false name in order to conceal her identity while having an active warrant issued from the Jamestown City Court. Officers charged all three and took them to the city jail. Upon arrival at the jail, Huntington was allegedly found to be in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine that he had been concealing on his person, with Huntington allegedly trying to destroy the evidence by ripping the bags of methamphetamine and throwing them on the ground. In total, officers recovered 51.3 grams of methamphetamine as a result of the investigation. Huntington is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. Blakey is charged with second-degree criminal impersonation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Griffin was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Huntington and Blakey were held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment while Griffin was issued an appearance ticket in accordance with state bail reform.

– Amanda M. Case, 29, of Falconer was charged with aggravated DWI per se and DWI at 2:06 a.m. Feb. 2 after officers pulled a vehicle over on North Main Street near West Fourth Street for alleged equipment violations. Case was allegedly driving with a blood-alcohol content of .18% after she was taken to the city jail for a breath test. Case was released to be in court later.
