JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Two city residents face charges after a traffic stop at 5:08 p.m. Monday near 2000 Washington St. According to a police report, Officers identified the occupants of the vehicle to be Nicholas T. Doland and Crystal R. Borst. Through investigation it was found that Doland, a Bemus Point resident, had an outstanding probation warrant and Borst, a Jamestown resident, was allegedly in possession of a small quantity of fentanyl and buprenorphine naloxone sublingual films. Borst was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and issued an appearance ticket to be in city court later. Borst was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

ELLICOTT POLICE

– Westley P. Bennett, 35, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny on Feb. 26 after Ellicott police responded to a shoplifting complaint at Wegmans, where it is alleged Bennett left the store without paying for items. Bennett was issued an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Matthew A. Simko, 45, of Mayville was charged with petit larceny on Friday after Ellicott police responded to a shoplifting complaint that allegedly took place on Feb. 14. It’s alleged Simko took items from the store without paying for the items. Simko was issued an appearance ticket and will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– Amanda S. Sendell, 38, of Stockton has been charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny, ending an investigation that began in December. At the end of December 2024, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Road patrol initially investigated a burglary at the Affordable Mini-storage units in Portland. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division assisted in the investigation at that time. During the burglary a 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle and two motorcycle helmets were stolen from a storage unit. Further investigation led to Sendell being charged. An arrest warrant was issued by Portland Town Court and Sendell turned herself in at the Chautauqua County Jail. She was later released after being arraigned.

– Tabitha J. Dellahoy, 36, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 2 p.m. Tuesday after deputies were dispatched to an Ellery home for a reported altercation. Dellahoy allegedly made unwanted physical contact with another person and damaged someone else’s property. Dellahoy was later charged and taken to the county jail for centralized arraignment.

DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Hani Sharian, 20, of Buffalo, was arrested Feb. 4 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and three vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Nayshaly Otero, 29, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with third- degree assault.

— Walter Whitfield, 48, of Lakewood, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and four vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Klarissa Foster, 34, of Silver Creek, was arrested Feb. 6 and charged with petit larceny.

— Jonathan Otero, 34, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 7 and charged with third-degree assault.

— Maria Andujar Rosario, 37, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with third- degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operator, and unregistered motor vehicle.

— Altarique Mitchell, 31, of Rochester, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, and failure to stop at a stop sign.

— Christopher Moerman, 35, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 9 and charged with second-degree criminal contempt and trespass.

— Luis Alvarez Luna, 21, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 10 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate wipers.

— David Narraway, 45, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 13 and charged with second-degree menacing.

— Fernando Negron-Cotto, 24, of Dunkirk, was arrested Feb. 14 and charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief.

— Jada Larkin, 22, homeless, was arrested Feb. 14 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

— Larry Houser, 40, of Westfield, was arrested Feb. 14 and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and six vehicle and traffic law violations.
