– WESTFIELD – A fire in the village Thursday has been ruled accidental in nature. At 11:55 a.m.. Westfield police and fire, along with other mutual aid fire departments, responded to 22 Watson Ave. for a reported structure fire. Once the fire was extinguished, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team determined the fire was caused by an unattended gas stovetop burner igniting nearby combustible materials in the kitchen. No injuries were reported.

– HANOVER – Jacob J. Keefe, 29, of Angola was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, speeding and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 1 a.m. on Buffalo Street. He will answer to the charges in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Sonia Camacho, 35, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 19 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operator.

— Donna Ojeda, 53, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 20 and charged with second-degree assault.

— Bethany Patterson, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 20 and charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment, suspended vehicle registration, operating without insurance, and driving with cracked windshield.

— Shaunn Boyd, 45, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 20 and charged with second- degree menacing.

— Jerred Simmons, 24, no address listed, was arrested March 21 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

— Nicholas McWillson, 30, of Portland, was arrested March 21 and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and second-degree disobeying court mandate.

— Phillip Decker, 26, of Fredonia, was arrested March 21 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and four vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Tina Schroeder, 23, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 22 and charged with third- degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

— Delani Williams, 24, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 23 and charged with three counts of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and seven vehicle and traffic law infractions.

— Jodi Messere, 45, of Dunkirk, was arrested Monday and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

— David Narraway, 46, of Dunkirk, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree menacing.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Juan G. Rivera, 40, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and resisting arrest at 3:05 a.m. Thursday after officers responded to a south side home for a report of an order of protection violation. Rivera allegedly violated a stay away order of protection by banging on the wall and yelling at the victim through their apartment. Officers allegedly found Rivera in a neighboring apartment where he allegedly resisted arrest with officers. After being placed into custody and while walking through the common hallway of the building, Rivera kicked at the other person’s apartment door and yelled at them again. Rivera was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Ralph R. Patterson, 45, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment at 6 p.m. Thursday after officers responded to a west side address for a reported domestic incident. Patterson allegedly threatened a person at the scene. Patterson was found by officers a short distance away and charged. Patterson had an outstanding arrest warrant from Jamestown City Court. He was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
