National Night Out set in city
The Dunkirk Police Department is issuing a reminder for everyone for the community to mark the calendars for National Night Out. It is two weeks away.
“We will again this year be celebrating this Police and Fire Department community event at Washington Park on Tuesday, Aug. 1 starting about 6:30 p.m.,” the department said. “A movie to follow at about 8 p.m.”
More information will come as the event nears.
Revitalize Dunkirk meets Wednesday
Revitalize Dunkirk, Inc.’s next quarterly membership meeting is Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., in the large meeting room of the Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Revitalize Dunkirk is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to community improvement. Members of the public interested in learning more about its projects and activities are welcome to attend.
Editor to address TEA Party group
“Our Local Government: How It Compares to Albany and Washington, D.C.” will be the subject John D’Agostino, regional editor of The Post-Journal, Dunkirk OBSERVER and Warren Times Observer, addresses at the general monthly meeting of the TEA Party at 1309 Norby Road, Jamestown, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Concerns over 5G also will be covered as well as follow up on gender ideology in local schools and inappropriate books being recommended by the NEA for teachers to read.
