Country Kids on Fly set for Thursday

SINCLAIRVILLE — Country Kids on the Fly will meet at the Sinclairville Free Library, 15 Main St., on Thursday, at 5:30 p.m. This is a free program for ages 8 and up to learn fly tying and fishing techniques. All tools and materials will be provided.

Veterans 4 Christ

brunch on Saturday

BROCTON — Veterans 4 Christ will be having their monthly brunch this Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The brunch is held at Tri-Church Parish, 41 E. Main St.

The breakfast is homemade and delicious. In addition to the brunch, there is Paula’s Donuts and hot coffee. This month there is not a guest speaker so come and enjoy the fellowship of other vets and their families.

Art Discovery event taking place

This Art Discovery on the Road Display takes place over September and October in both branches of the Mary E. Seymour Memorial Library, Stockton and Cassadaga.

Stockton has a display of origami squash fold books created by participants; while Cassadaga has a display of peace mandalas, also created by participants. Lucy Andrus, Professor Emeritus, Buffalo State University, will present workshops with dates to be announced.
