Club Associates hold annual meeting

The Northern Chautauqua County Club Associates will hold its annual installation banquet on Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Kosciuszko Polish Home, 252 Nevins St. in Dunkirk. Cocktails will be served at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6.

Guest speaker will be Jim Fisher, a member of the board of directors of the Dunkirk Lighthouse.

1968 classes planning 75th ‘Birthday Bash’

A committee from both schools has been formed to plan a 75th Birthday Party next summer for the 1968 graduating classes of Dunkirk and Cardinal Mindszenty High Schools. At a recent meeting the committee agreed to hold the “75th Birthday Bash” on Saturday, Aug. 9 at the Post 62 American Legion in Dunkirk.

The committee will meet again to work on details today at 6:30 p.m. at Post 62. Classmates who would like to be involved are urged to attend.

Blood drive set Jan. 10 in South Dayton

SOUTH DAYTON — The sophomore class at Pine Valley Junior/Senior High School, located at 7827 Route 83, is hosting a blood drive Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the gym and the community is encouraged to donate. All donors will receive a “Fear Less” donor T-shirt while supplies last. Please contact Kara Johnson at kajohnson@pval.org to schedule an appointment.

Fredonia Ukuele set for Saturday

Fredonia Ukulele will be Saturday at Domus Fare Restaurant, 41 W. Main St. Fredonia, from 5 to 7 p.m. Play immediately, all ability levels. No experience necessary. We’re all about making music as a community. The goal is to have fun and to make music.

Ukuleles provided or bring your own. Play, sing, or just enjoy listening. Come and go as you please.

Sons of Legion meet Tuesday

BROCTON — The Sons of the American Legion, Squad 434 Brocton, will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday. The meeting is held at the Brocton Legion starting at 7 p.m. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Dues for the 2025 year can be paid at the Brocton Legion during business hours. Dues may also be mailed to the Brocton Legion, P.O. Box J, Brocton, N.Y. 14716.
