Legion planning spaghetti dinner Feb. 15

SILVER CREEK — American Legion Post 148 will have its annual spaghetti dinner at 13 N. Main St. on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 3 to 7 p.m. Dinner will include Spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, butter and desert. Tickets will be available at the door and in the canteen at $12 per dinner.

Galentine’s Day event on Feb. 13

CASSADAGA — Local women are invited to a special Galentine’s Day event at the Seymour Cassadaga Library on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 5 to 7 pm. Galentine’s Day is a holiday from the hit show Parks and Recreation meant to foster and acknowledge the importance of female friendship. The library will provide treats, mimosas, games, crafts, and lots of laughs.

Country Kids On Fly meet this month

SINCLAIRVILLE — Country Kids on the Fly will meet at the Sinclairville Free Library, 15 Main St., on Monday and Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. This is a free program for ages 8 and up to learn fly tying and fishing techniques. All tools and materials will be provided.

Quilt Guild meets on Saturday

WESTFIELD — Westfield Quilt Guild meets on the second Saturday of each month at the Presbyterian Church, 49 North Portage Road.

The quilt guild’s mission is to encourage the fellowship of anyone interested in the art and craft of quilt making. The group doed this by sharing skills and knowledge with one another. Providing educational opportunities with locally and nationally recognized speakers, demonstrations, workshops, and member demonstrations are many of the ways we support and encourage our quilting growth

The next meeting will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the fellowship hall. February is a mug rug, hot pad challenge using initials by incorporating a quilt block, a stitch or colors. All are welcome
