The Dunkirk Lakeshore Bowling Association is sponsoring a meat raffle at the Sheridan VFW on Rte. 20 on Saturday, Feb. 8. Doors open at 6 p.m. and first spin is at 7 p.m. The $5 admission includes beer, pop, and door prizes. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a lottery tree raffle. All are welcome for a fun evening.

The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will be held on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Middle/High School Multi-Purpose Room. A budget workshop will be held prior to the meeting beginning at 5 p.m.

Annual Bills Booster

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will hold its annual meeting and election of officers on Wednesday at the Dom Polski Club in Dunkirk, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Valentine Bingo event

is Feb. 16

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Memorial Post 6390 Auxiliary will host a Valentine Bingo event on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 16 at the post located at 2556 Route 20. The first game will start at 2 p.m.

Admission will be $10 at the door and additional cards will be available. Prizes will be the winner’s choice and will have a Valentine theme. Please bring your own bingo marker if you have one; there will be markers available to borrow if needed.

Light refreshments will be provided at intermission and the bar will be open for drink purchases. All proceeds will be directed to veteran’s help organizations the Auxiliary supports.
