GriefShare begins meetings next month

After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues and you feel alone.

If you or someone you know is grieving the loss of a loved one, you don’t have to walk this journey alone. GriefShare is a grief recovery support group where you can find healing, hope and help for the hurt of losing a loved one. Join us as we seek comfort, answers and hope.

The group meets Tuesdays, March 11 to June 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harvest Chapel Church, 39 Matteson St., Fredonia.

City church plans Ash Wednesday services

Ash Wednesday Services are set for 11 a.m. March 5 at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church at West Fourth and Lark streets.

That service will include Holy Communion, Imposition of Ashes, and music. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the entrance there will be “Ashes to Go,” individualized prayer and ashes.
