Organ recital, master class at SUNY on Sunday
Residents are invited to attend a free Organ Recital at SUNY Fredonia on Sunday at 2 p.m. Guest organist Nicholas Capozzoli will present an hour-long event performing music of Buxtehude, Bach, Laurin, Albright, and Reger, featuring the King Concert Hall’s Schlicker pipe organ. Admission is free.
The recital will be followed by an Interlude/Reception hosted by the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation. Then, all are welcome to attend a 4 p.m. Master Class taught by Capozzoli featuring organ students of SUNY Fredonia. The afternoon will conclude at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. Come for all or part of the afternoon.

Ham dinner planned for March 15
St. John’s United Church of Christ is having a Ham Dinner on Saturday, March 15, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $13 and includes dessert. Advance reservations are recommended by calling the church office at 716-366-0710. No need to pay in advance. Parking is available in the church parking lot, off Eagle Street.
Lakeshore sets membership meeting
Lakeshore Humane Society will hold its monthly general membership meeting. It will be at Lakeshore Humane Society Adoption Center, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, 6:30 p.m. March 20. The public is welcome.

Meatloaf dinner planned on March 26
The John T. Murray Post Auxiliary will be hosting a meatloaf dinner on March 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will be at the post, 111-113 Deer St., Dunkirk.
For a donation of $12, there will be real mashed potatoes, vegetable, meatloaf and dessert. Presale tickets are available at the post and greatly appreciated.
Club Associates notes next gathering
The Northern Chautauqua County Club Associates recently held its regular monthly meeting at Dunkirk’s Dom Polski club. The club was welcomed by an officer of the club and treated to an amazing breakfast. One Association officer was excused due to illness and all clubs were present. The next monthly meeting will be at the Silver Creek Overseas Veteran Club on March 23 at 10:30 a.m.
