W(h)ine time returns in village

Village of Fredonia Trustee Jon Espersen has announced the return of his community engagement event known as W(h)ine Time. These events offer village residents the opportunity to engage in discussions on a variety of subjects and to have their pressing questions answered. Past events have proven to be extremely informative for all attendees.

The White Inn has graciously agreed to host this event on Tuesday, April 29 beginning at 3 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Don’t pass up this opportunity to engage in civic discourse with your local elected official.

Congregation sets Sunday service

The theme for March is Trust.

On Sunday, the presentation is “The Glue of Life: Social Trust and our UU Values,” with Alex Holbrook.

Holbrook will speak about low-trust societies in history and will discuss what makes societies “high-trust” and how our UU values can help build that trust for the good of all. Holbrook is a Fredonia resident and an assistant professor in the department of history and archaeology at Gannon University in Erie, Pa.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua strives to be a vibrant, welcoming, multigenerational, diverse community enlivened by the power of radical love.
