Six arrested in Fredonia drug raid

Six people are facing charges following a drug raid in Fredonia.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, investigators received information that narcotics were being sold at 18 Liberty St. Apt. 3 in the village. A search warrant of the residence was executed early Wednesday morning by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Fredonia Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department and Jamestown Police Department. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s SWAT made entrance into the apartment.

Present in the residence were Fredonia residents Andrew Studley, 42, Daniel Saar, 35, and Dunkirk residents Arlene Rivera, 36, Jodi Messere, 44, Jeni Kreger, 29, and Justin Schuk, 42.

As a result of the search, investigators allegedly seized 70.1 grams of methamphetamine, 38.9 grams of fentanyl, 17.0 grams of cocaine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, a shotgun and $510 in US currency.

Studley was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. He also had a Chautauqua County Court arrest warrant for felony drug possession.

Saar, Rivera, Messere, Kreger and Schuk were all charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

All suspects were transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for arraignment.
