Disorderly man charged after battling with officers
A Jamestown man who became combative with city of Dunkirk police officers is facing charges.
City police reported Wednesday that at 4:55 p.m. Jan. 1, officers responded to a business on the 200 block of Central Avenue for a report of a disorderly patron. Upon arrival officers made contact with the subject, identified as Kenneth Mosley, 42. Mosley was disorderly and refused to leave the establishment.
Mosley then became combative with officers and after a brief struggle was taken into custody. Mosley was transported to Dunkirk Police Headquarters Jail for processing, and while in the secure Dunkirk Police jail facility became combative with officers again, spitting blood and saliva into the eye of an officer.
Mosley was held for arraignment and charged with felony aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct.
Mosley, who is currently on active supervised probation, was remanded to county jail on $20,000 bail. The officer was treated at the hospital and released.
