A Fredonia resident has been arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with a minor.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, on July 10, an investigation was conducted by the department’s Criminal Investigation Division. Investigators allege that Jonathan M. Tresler, 34, did engage in sexual intercourse with a juvenile victim.

On Monday, Tresler turned himself in to the Chautauqua County Jail for the charge of third-degree rape and will answer the charges out of the Fredonia Village Court.
