Boat lift donated to county Sheriff’s Office

Submitted Photo The new boat lift for the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office’s newest Chautauqua Lake patrol boat is pictured.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank “Rock WNY” for their donation of a boat lift this past summer season.

Rock WNY provided a 2017 Shore Station Hydraulic 7,000 lbs. boat lift for the Sheriff’s Office Marine Division to use for their newest patrol boat at Long Point State Park on Chautauqua Lake. The lift is an aluminum solar powered shore station which is used to lift and keep boats up out of the water. This keeps the boats safe and clean and also offers quick and easy deployment of the patrol vessel when needed. Rock WNY sells, maintains and installs boat lifts along with providing many other services to customers around the lake.

The CCSO patrol vessel 504, which is a 2016 Brunswick 24-foot patrol boat, is seen in the picture. The boat is operated and maintained by the Sheriff’s Office Marine Division and provided to CCSO by NYS Parks and Recreation for patrol and rescue on NYS waterways.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank Rob Hetrick of Rock WNY for donating the use of this boat lift and their continued support of the Sheriff’s Office Marine Division and the citizens of Chautauqua County.

Starting at $2.99/week.
