This Christmas Eve, the Dunkirk Professional Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 616 delivered some much needed Christmas cheer to two families in the city. The union purchased toys and Christmas dinners for these families that were in need, during their annual Give Christmas Away program. City firefighters along with retired union members, and the administration of the Dunkirk Fire Department all donated to the cause. The Give Christmas Away program is a part of the on going effort by the union to give back to the city that it serves. The Dunkirk Professional Firefighters Association reminds everyone to have a safe and happy holiday season.
