Arkwright code enforcement officer to step down
ARKWRIGHT — Wendy Spinuza, code enforcement officer for the town of Arkwright, will step down as of June 15.
The Arkwright Town Board met by Zoom on Monday. Members received a letter from Spinuza to share during the public portion of the meeting.
“I am sorry I can not serve as code enforcement officer for Arkwright anymore,” Spinuza wrote. “I will help the board as much as possible, but I am stepping down.”
The board stated that Spinuza had already let them know ahead of time, so they could start preparing. According to the board, Spinuza has already talked with and lightly trained a person to replace her position.
The board stated that the person to replace Spinuza seemed very excited and interested, but does need formal training.
