St. Rose Christmas Cookie Sale underway
The annual St. Rose Society Christmas Cookie Sale is well underway. All cookies are homemade and baked at the St. Rose of Lima Hall by the ladies of Forestville and Silver Creek. Each tray of cookies is wrapped in cello with a beautiful Christmas bow. They are ready to give as gifts or to enjoy yourself.
This year the ladies are offering only medium plates of mixed cookies. They have increased the number of cookies on the plate to 40-plus for the price of $20. The price of the Italian Cookies (Cucidati) will remain the same as in the past at $15 per pound.
To place an order call Carmen Wappman at 965-9914, Pat Morelle 207-6509 or you can call the office of Our Lady of Mount Carmel church at 934-2233. Cookie pickup is Saturday, Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon. Special arrangements can be made if you are unable to pick up at this time.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you do not enter our building this year. Please stop at the main entrance of our church hall, 11 Center St., Forestville. One of the ladies will come out and help you.
The St. Rose Society wishes to thank the entire community for the support they receive in this fundraiser and with their past dinners. Proceeds of this cookie sale help the missions in Honduras, the Dominican Republic and here in the United States. The Society helps support local Food Pantry’s, the St. Gianna Pregnancy Outreach Center in Fredonia and many other local community needs.
