Author to speak at Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary

The Rotary Club of Dunkirk-Fredonia will welcome a prominent author and celebrity as its guest speaker during the weekly noon Zoom meeting on Thursday.

Born and raised in the city of Dunkirk, Wendy Corsi Staub is a Dunkirk High School and State University of New York at Fredonia graduate whose family, faith, and Italian traditions along with her love and pride of growing up in a small city, encompass her life and career. Corsi Staub is New York Times bestseller award-winning author of more than ninety novels, best known for the single title psychological suspense novels she writes under her own name. Those books and the women’s fiction she writes under the pseudonym Wendy Markham have also appeared on the USA Today, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Bookscan bestseller lists.

Her current releases, “Little Girl Lost,” “Dead Silence,” and “The Butcher’s Daughter” comprise her fifth suspense trilogy for HarperCollins/William Morrow. To date, there are three titles in her Lily Dale traditional mystery series: “Nine Lives,” “Something Buried, Something Blue” and “Dead of Winter.”
