Construction of a New York State Police barracks continued Tuesday on Main Street Extension in Dunkirk. Workers were hammering away at the wooden frame, which appeared nearly complete. The barracks will be roughly 5,000 square feet when finished, and is expected to be ready sometime in the summer. It will replace the troopers’ current barracks on Route 60 in Fredonia.
