ECR announces promotion of Lilly
ECR International has announced that Steve Lilly will assume the role of chief operating officer.
Lilly has extensive senior level management experience having served as the plant manager of ECR International’s Dunkirk facility for over 23 years and more recently, serving in the role of director of manufacturing for ECR International.
He holds an associates of applied science degree in mechanical tngineering technology from SUNY Erie Community College and a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. As president and chief operating officer, Lilly will be responsible for maintaining and driving operational results within the company providing leadership to the organization that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
“What I have learned through my years and experiences in manufacturing is that to be profitable in today’s manufacturing climate we must be committed to continual improvement in our operations,” he said. “We must become more efficient in how we provide services and manufacture product. We must develop new business strategies and products, adopting new process technologies, and simply manage existing resources more effectively.”
Lilly went on to say that “ECR International has been providing our customers with energy efficient heating and cooling systems for almost 100 years and I look forward to the challenges ahead as we continue to increase our manufacturing capabilities and further strengthen our position in the North American heating market.”
He and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for 29 years and are the proud parents of three adult children, Jake, Emma, and Nick. Both were born and raised in Dunkirk-Fredonia and have been active members of the communities their entire lives. For the past several years, they have successfully co-owned and operated three family businesses.
ECR International has been manufacturing heating and cooling products for almost 100 years under a family of brand names including Utica Boilers, Dunkirk, Olsen, Pennco, Argo and EMI. ECR International is part of Granby Industries LP, a division of TerraVest Industries Inc., of Canada.
