Pearl Harbor remembered

Submitted Photo A Pearl Harbor Day wreath ceremony was held by the Silver Creek VFW Post 6472 on Wednesday at the Hanover boat launch to honor and remember those who lost their lives on Sunday, Dec. 7, 1941, as well as remaining survivors. “O God of our Fathers, we guard in our hearts today the sacred memory of those who gave their lives on that day which will live in infamy. Bless us, O Lord, as we humble ourselves in Thy presence to remember our shipmates and friends who served our country so valiantly,” members noted during the event.
