Each participating officer was asked to donate $20 for the privilege of forgoing facial shaving for the month of November. Thirteen officers participated in the fund-raising event, with the Fredonia Police Benevolent Association matching the funds raised by its officers. Funds raised in the amount of $560 were donated to the Oishei Children’s Hospital Neonatal Care Unit.
