‘Frozen’ to be performed by Danza!

Danza! Performing Arts Academy will hold its annual Holiday production at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House today and Friday at 7p.m. This year’s performance “Frozen in Fredonia” features talented local dancers of all ages. The show is a great kick off to the Holiday season.
The local performances are open to the public. The annual performance features numerous of the studio’s dancers each year in a unique and original presentation choreographed by Danza! Artistic Director Krista Taylor.
The show features a variety of special characters portrayed by some of the studio’s most advanced dancers. Seniors Mia Gorka of Fredonia and Ella Pacos of Cassadaga play lead Princess roles. Rounding out the characters are High School Junior’s Marissa Grisanti of Silver Creek, Danielle Krajewski of Gowanda, Emma Ahlstrom of Dunkirk and Taylor Thompson of Westfield.
Opening the show is “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” featuring the main characters’ growth from young; Mary Coppola, Isabella Draggett to youth Morgan Kuras and Savannah Stein to grown versions by Gorka and Pacos. In addition to Tap, Hip hop, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Tumbling will also be performed. Beautiful holiday costumes, props and sets as well as a festively decorated Opera House enhance the performance.
The performances include something for everyone and are very family friendly. Performers are from all over Chautauqua County and range from the age of three and up. Tickets are available at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House at 679-1891.
