WESTFIELD — A Dunkirk man has died after being struck by a tractor trailer while walking on Route 394 early Friday.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of the pedestrian and motor vehicle accident around 1:21 a.m. in the town. An investigation found that Andrew T. Seelbinder, 37, was struck by a tractor trailer that was traveling north. Seelbinder died as a result of the injuries sustained from the accident. His name was released Friday morning by authorities.

There are no charges expected as a result of this incident. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Westfield Police Department, Jamestown Police Department, the New York State Police, Westfield Fire Department Chautauqua County EMS, and the Chautauqua County Coroner’s Office.
