A Fredonia apartment complex that is part of the downtown business district has a new owner.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Aug. 8-15.

During this time period, Rom Real Estate Holdings, LLC of Fredonia sold 5 E. Main St., Fredonia for $165,000. A sign on the four-story building labels it “Parkview Collegiate Lofts.”

Also during this time, there were two private residences that were seven-figure sales. 9 N. Lake Drive, Chautauqua Institution, sold for $2,347,500 and 5457 Bly Hill Road, North Harmony sold for $1,295,000.

Including the previously mentioned sales, there were seven sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– 36 Scott Ave., Chautauqua Institution sold for $882,250.

– 4562 Waterboro Hill Road, Ellington sold for $810,000.

– 4922 Pittsburgh Ave., Chautauqua town sold for $379,000.

– 4850 Potter Road, Chautauqua town sold for $370,000.

– 2836 Greenhurst Ave., Ellery sold for $250,000.
