Home gardening is service topic
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua (UUCNC), located at 222 Temple Street in Fredonia, holds a Sunday worship service at 11 a.m., both at their physical location and on Zoom. For those wishing to join us virtually, please visit https://tinyurl.com/caluucnc. Click on “Worship Service” on the date you are attending and scroll down for the Zoom link. For those attending the in-person service, please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building.
The theme for December is Presence. Join us on Sunday for a service on Regenerative Agriculture and the Importance of Home Gardening, with local farmer Wendell Wagner Maggitti of Maggitti Farms in Fredonia. Wendell, along with his partner Hannah Glavey and his father Andrew Maggitti are the owners of this organic, regenerative, no-till urban farm. In addition to bringing their fresh produce to the Fredonia Farmers Market throughout the year, they also provide vegetables to a variety of programs in Chautauqua County and run a Farm-to-Table Community Supported Agriculture program (CSA), with shares available every week for those interested in a subscription.
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua strives to be a vibrant, welcoming, multigenerational, diverse community enlivened by the power of radical love.
