Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day was observed Saturday by the Silver Creek VFW Post 6472 at the Sunset Bay State Marina Park. To honor the Americans that lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Members of the VFW, American Legion were in attendance along with the local community. It is a day of reflection, remembrance, and honoring the memory of those who lost their lives or were injured during the attack. Very few veterans are still alive from this great generation it is up to future Americans to keep and honor this Remembrance Day.
