Two charged in Dunkirk narcotics probe
A two-month investigation into narcotics activity ended with Narcotics Investigators from the Dunkirk Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, and Jamestown Police Department executing a search warrant at 310 Lake Shore Drive West Room 111 in the city of Dunkirk. Entry was made into the residence by the Dunkirk Police Department at 12:20 p.m Tuesday.
Located inside the room at the time of the search warrant was Vanessa Stevens, 34, and Russell Genevese, 35, both of Dunkirk. As a result of the search Investigators seized 38.36 grams of methamphetamine, 4.4 grams of fentanyl, 3.2 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, and $141.
Stevens and Genevese were both charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia . Stevens and Genevese were transported to Dunkirk City Court for arraignment.
