Grape Belt Seniors announce trips for year
Grape Belt Seniors have announced four trips for the coming year.
— Its first trip will be to Cleveland for the Yankee baseball game, which is on Wednesday, April 23. It is a 1:10 p.m. game and the group will be leaving from Walmart at 10 a.m. and return at 8 p.m. Tickets are in Section 334, club seating with an all you can eat buffet until seventh inning. — On Saturday, May 31, it is to Shea’s for a 2 p.m. matinee, “Ain’t Too Proud,” a story of the Temptation’s history over the years and their success, with many of their popular songs. There are seats in rows JKLMNO, only 10 rows from the stage. There will be a family style dinner at Ilio DiPaolo’s. Depart from Walmart at noon and return at 7 p.m. This one is also filling quickly.
— Sunday, Aug. 3 is going to be with Joel Dombroski as tour host for “Queen For A Day.” We start out with brunch and a tasty beverage at the “Barrell Factory.” Next is a cruise on the “Big Kahuna Tiki Boat,” cruising along as we sip on a Tiki Cocktail. Next is a carousel ride on the Historic Buffalo Heritage Carousel in Canal Side and continue on to the Magic Bear Beer Cellar at Larkinville for yet another tasty beverage. A stop will be made at Parkside Candies for a sweet treat included in your visit. Depart from Walmart at 10:30 a.m. and return at 5:30 p.m.
— Spragues and Sites will be on Oct. 15 in Portville. The day starts at the Rusty Rooster Farm and Vintage and the Chocolate Roost. Next will beSpragues for lunch with three choices for a meal. After lunch, the group will head to the Basilica of St. Mary the Angels in Olean and our last stop will be the Cuba Cheese Shoppe. Leave at 8:15 a.m. and return at 6 p.m.
