Kick Cabin Fever Indoor Triathlon canceled for 2025

MAYVILLE – The Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County and Chautauqua Health and Fitness at the Turner Center are announcing the cancellation of the 2025 Kick Cabin Fever Indoor Triathlon due to facility renovations planned for this winter.

While this annual event has been a staple for winter wellness enthusiasts, the temporary pause provides an opportunity for exciting reimagining in 2026.

Event founder Cheryl Burns shared her thoughts on the news: “It is often we have to miss an important event due to what life throws our way. Our minds immediately tune into another goal and make a commitment that it will turn out even better the next time.”

While this year’s triathlon won’t take place, we encourage participants to embrace winter wellness in other ways. Whether it’s trying a new workout routine, enjoying outdoor activities like snowshoeing or cross-country skiing, or joining a fitness class, there are countless ways to stay active and connected through the colder months.
