Chautauqua County July 4th Committee announces 2025 theme
MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County July 4th Celebration Committee has begun planning its annual Independence Day Celebration for 2025.
This year’s theme is “Christmas in July 2025” and will take place in Mayville on Friday, July 4. The celebration is a family-friendly event including a parade, a festival at Lakeside Park and fireworks on the lake.
The committee will be hosting fundraisers on a monthly basis to raise the money necessary to pay for the celebration. The first fundraiser will be an indoor Putt-Putt tournament on Saturday, March 15. It will be held at the Mayville Legion, Mayville VFW, Green Door Tavern, Chautauqua Suites, and the Lakeview Hotel and Restaurant.
The annual Mother’s Day and Father’s Day breakfasts will be held on May 11 and June 15, respectively. These will both be held at the Mayville Legion from 8-11 a.m.
Aug. 9 the committee will be hosting the annual Firecracker Open Golf Tournament at Chautauqua Golf Club.
Events are also in the works for April and late July or August and will be announced when plans are finalized. All events are open to the general public.
The committee encourages everyone to support this long-standing Chautauqua County tradition by attending any or all of these events. Donations will be gratefully accepted and can be mailed to CCJ4CC at PO Box 229 Mayville, NY 14757-0229.
If you would like to volunteer to help at one of the fundraisers or on July 4th you can call 716-753-6556 to sign up.
