Hanover seeks input on comprehensive plan
SILVER CREEK — The town of Hanover is preparing to update their 24-year-old Comprehensive Plan and is requesting input from the residents in the town on where they would like to see Hanover in the next five to 10 years. A comprehensive plan establishes a community-based vision and general guide to decision-making for the next decade.
In order to accomplish this goal, they have established a steering committee to work with professional planners to develop a comprehensive plan utilizing community response and they are looking for Hanover residents’ input regarding vision, values, principles, priorities, issues, opportunities and assets in and for the Town of Hanover.
All Hanover residents are invited to a community open house to solicit their input pertaining to the comprehensive plan on Thursday. There will be no formal presentation and all are encouraged to drop in at any time between 5 to 6:30 p.m. The open house will take place in the courtroom at the Hanover Town Hall, 68 Hanover St.
