March events planned at Anderson-Lee Library

Used Book Shamrock Banners will be created March 11.

SILVER CREEK — Anderson-Lee Library, at 43 Main St. in Silver Creek has announced programming for the month of March. Programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required unless stated otherwise, to ensure enough seating and materials for all patrons attending the program.

— Lego Club for ages 5-12, Saturday, March 1 at 10:30 a.m. Build the challenge of the day, pick a challenge card or free build. Your choice! Limit of 10 children and pre-registration is required.

— Used Book Shamrock Banners, Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. Join us to create a simple and fun DIY Shamrock Banner for St. Patrick’s Day! Pre-registration is required.

— Bead Bracelet Party for all ages, Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m. Come create bracelets with our collection of beads! Fun for all ages and abilities. Pre-registration is appreciated.

— Preschool Storytime for children ages 2-5 on Thursday mornings March 6, 13, 20, and 27 with Miss Jill at 10:30 am. Children will participate in reading, singing, rhymes and fun crafts. Pre-registration is requested.

— School Age Storytime for children 6-12 years of age on Thursday mornings March 6, 13, 20, and 27 at 10:30 am with Miss Amy. Stories, crafts, games, and other activities are offered. Pre-registration is requested.

The Secret Society of the Twisted Stitchers: Fridays from 2 to 4 p.m. This club is for all who love handiwork. Ages 10 and older and all skill levels are welcome! Please bring your own supplies. Just getting started? For knitting, bring size 10/10.5 bamboo needles and a light-colored worsted weight yarn (#4). For crochet, bring a size H hook and light-colored worsted weight yarn (#4). Come and learn or come and work on a project with others who love to knit, crochet, embroider, quilt etc.! No registration required. You do not need to commit to each week to attend. Please stop in and stitch!

Anderson-Lee Library is open to the public Monday and Tuesday from noon to 8 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The library is closed Wednesday and Sunday.
