Performers get ready. Chautauqua’s Got Talent is back, and auditions are set to begin.

CGT is open to all types of performers –singers, musicians, bands, dancers, magicians, comedians, and more. According to CGT Producer Angelo Valentino, contestants can perform solo or as part of a group, and it is a chance to showcase their talents on a professional stage with expert guidance along the way.

“Chautauqua’s Got Talent isn’t just a competition — it’s an opportunity for performers to grow and refine their craft,” Valentino said. “Contestants work closely with the production team each week to improve their performances, making this not only a thrilling show for audiences, but also a valuable experience for every participant.”

Velentino said live auditions will take place on March 17, at The Spire Theater, located at 317 E. Third St. However, hopeful contestants don’t have to wait–pre-registration and online auditions are open now. To sign up, visit facebook.com/chautauquatalent and click the sign up button at the top of the page.

Performers of all kinds get a chance to compete for $1,000 in cash and studio time at Found Recording Studio, Velentino noted. The five-week competition, presented by SE93 and The Post-Journal, kicks off April 7, at 7 p.m. at The Spire Theater, and continues on April 28, May 5, May 12, and May 19, when the grand champion will be crowned.

“Additionally, the contest uses a unique voting system designed to ensure that the true crowd favorite wins–not just the performer with the biggest cheering section,” Velentino said.

Starting at $2.99/week.
