Dunkirk Fire responds to call on Lincoln Ave.

City of Dunkirk firefighters responded to a structure fire at 156 Lincoln Ave. in the city around 7 p.m. Monday. They arrived to find smoke emanating from the home. The City of Dunkirk Police and Alstar EMS also responded to the scene.
Dunkirk Police blocked off a small section of Lincoln Ave., while the firefighters quickly addressed the fire. A Dunkirk Police Officer on the scene stated that everyone inside the house exited safely.
Approximately an hour after responding to the call, a faint smell of smoke still lingered through the air as nearby residents looked on to see firefighters calmly exiting the building.
