FeedMore WNY bringing fresh, affordable produce to YWCA Westfield

Stephanie Stevens, executive director of YWCA Westfield.
WESTFIELD – YWCA Westfield is excited to announce a new partnership with FeedMore WNY to bring fresh, locally grown, and affordable produce to the community. Beginning in April, community members will be able to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables on a tentative schedule of Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at YWCA Westfield, located at 58 S. Portage St.
The Farm Market will accept credit, debit, cash, and SNAP benefits, with on-site assistance available for those interested in signing up for SNAP. This partnership aims to increase access to healthy food options and provide valuable resources for families in the Westfield area.
“We are thrilled to bring FeedMore WNY to YWCA Westfield,” said Stephanie Stevens, Executive Director of YWCA Westfield. “Access to fresh and affordable food is essential for a healthy community. By making locally grown produce available in a convenient location, we are helping families make nutritious choices while also strengthening our mission to support health and wellness. While you’re here, you can sign up for a fitness membership, shoot some hoops in our gymnasium, and bring home fresh fruits and vegetables at a great price. We want the YWCA to be a place where the community gathers, stays active, and has access to the resources they need.”
The initiative aligns with YWCA Westfield’s ongoing efforts to promote well-being, strengthen food security, and connect residents with vital resources.
