A bizarre accident is being investigated on the New York State Thruway this afternoon. According to reports, a car traveling eastbound on Holmes Road crashed over a guardrail on Allegheny Road, went airborne and landed on the New York State Thruway near Exit 58. The motorist may have been going at speeds of more than 100 mph. A car pulled over to check on the accident. The driver of the crashed vehicle then jumped into that car and drove westbound. He reportedly crashed near Eden.
