Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is accepting applications for Service Learning Grants
The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is accepting applications for the Service Learning Grants Program for the 2025-26 academic year. Service Learning is a teaching and learning method that connects classroom lessons to real-world, meaningful community service. Grants are available to support classrooms from 4th to 12th grade in northern Chautauqua County. Since its inception, the Service Learning Grants Program has provided over $60,000 in funding for projects in seven area school districts.
Local fourth to 12th grade teachers are encouraged to apply for funding for projects in line with the program’s goals. Classrooms from all disciplines have participated in the program, including art, social studies, trades, science, and more. Applications for Service Learning Grants will be accepted through April 30, with awards announced in June.
