Some land for vineyards, field crops, and other undeveloped parcels in Westfield have been sold.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the sales from Feb. 11-14.

During this time period, Gary and Darlene Youngs sold five parcels on Munson and West Main Road, Westfield to R Chadwick Holdings, LLC of Westfield for $647,400. The properties total 98 acres and are labeled on the county’s parcel viewer as vineyards/field crop land.

Also during this time period, Union Concrete & Construction Corp. of West Seneca sold 7802 and 7822 Persons Road, Westfield to Gernatt Asphalt Products, Inc. of Collins for $155,000. Gernatt Asphalt has a location on Persons Road. It appears these parcels butt up against their business property and are mostly vacant.

Including the previous sale mentioned, from Feb. 11-14 there were three sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– Stephen Smith sold 9946 East Lake Road, Ripley to David Uhlig and Patti Williams for $250,000.
