Multiple fire departments responded to a report of a structure fire at 7940 Route 380 in the town of Portland Monday around 5 p.m. Flames were showing from a garage that was attached to a house. It appeared the fire had spread to the house, as firefighters were on the porch roof, knocking out the window to attack the blaze. A Chautauqua County Sheriff deputy at the scene said there were no immediate reports of injuries. Fire departments that responded included Brocton, Portland, Fredonia, Cassadaga and Dewittville.
