It’s the new meals on wheels. Area restaurants have had to shift their business model to one that is providing take-out while continuing to provide services to customers.

One business that decided to give back to area this week was the Siri Thai food truck, which offered meals to those most vulnerable and in need.

“For the rest of the day Siri Thai will be giving away food to those in need, especially the elderly, sick, and those that cannot afford it,” their Facebook page stated Tuesday in a post. “If you have a neighbor in need or want to help a group in the community, please message or call me.”

The truck was parked at the Woodlawn Credit Union and helped out where they could. The operators also thanked the customers that supported them to help make their giving back to the community possible.
