Brocton first-graders go all-out for Arbor Day
The first-graders at Brocton Central School celebrated Arbor Day on April 30. Mrs. Zambotti’s class participated in the New York State Seeding Program and all of the students in her class received a free White Spruce tree to be planted at home. The students also planted a White Spruce tree in the courtyard of the school, they will get to see it change and grow over the years they attend Brocton schools. Mrs. Zambotti is passionate about taking care of the Earth and feels it is crucial to teach students early on the importance of taking care of the environment and being kind to nature.
