The Chadwick Bay Chapter held their installation of officers and presentation of scholarship winners at Shorewood Country Club on June 28. Pastor Nettie Puleff of Fredonia First United Methodist Church was the installing officer. Donnie Hover was installed as President, Christine Storer as first VP, Karen Crowe as second VP, Marianne Serio as Recording Secretary, Terri Pacos as treasurer, and Nancy Steffan as Corresponding Secretary.

Hailey Butler, of Fredonia, one of our three scholarship winners, is attending SUNY Fredonia. After completing her degree at Fredonia, she intends to attend chiropractic school. Hailey currently works as an assistant to chiropractor in a local clinic.

Upon completion of her advanced degree she intends to provide a more holistic approach to pain relief rather than the use of pain killers.

Stacey Chase, of Conewango Valley, is pursuing her master’s degree through Capella University. She currently is the administrative assistant at the Pine Valley Central High School system in the guidance office. She wants to provide students with guidance as to the purpose of higher education, encourage them to succeed in their goals and support them in their social and emotional growth.

Jessica Falco, of Dunkirk, is enrolled at SUNY Fredonia following a path to social work. She completed the classes for CASACT certification but life was interrupted by the pandemic and was not allowed to complete her clinical internship. Jessica plans to work as a substance abuse counselor. After graduating next spring, she is planning on attending the University of Buffalo for her master’s degree in social work.

This year Chadwick Bay Chapter donated to: Revitalize Dunkirk, The Son Shine Fund, The Boys and Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua County, Meals on Wheels, Dunkirk Library Children’s Room in memory of Kathy Wojcinski, St. Giovanni in memory of Martha Dybka, Cassadaga Country Club Women’s Golf League for their Roswell Cancer tournament.
