Taverna receives ‘Outstanding Service Award’ at conference
Christopher Taverna, applications administrator/applications trainer in Information Technology Services at the State University of New York at Fredonia, received the 2022 SUNY Educational Technology Officers Association (EdTOA) Outstanding Service Award at the 2022 SUNY Technology Conference on June 21 to 23.
Kelly Larrivey, chair of EdTOA presented the award, which recognizes outstanding service to the mission and vision of EdTOA, during the general business meeting. “The New Normal” was the theme of the virtual conference.
EdTOA, an alliance of instructional technology personnel within SUNY, provides a forum for its members to share common concerns and an avenue for relaying those concerns to SUNY Administration. It promotes collaboration, support and enrichment among all SUNY instructional technology personnel and is committed to the ongoing excellence of SUNY’s use of appropriate instructional technology.
EdTOA strives to help SUNY faculty and staff find instructional technology solutions for their educational needs.
