16 charged in major Dunkirk bust

Sixteen individuals, ages 21 to 64, have been charged after narcotics investigators executed two search warrants in the city of Dunkirk.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department deputies report they, Dunkirk Police and Jamestown Police executed warrants at 31 E. Courtney St. and 45 E. Courtney St. in the city of Dunkirk around 7:23 p.m. Wednesday. Dunkirk Police Special Response Team made entrance at 45 E. Courtney St., lower apartment, while the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s SWAT was making entrance at 31 E. Courtney St. in the rear lower apartment.

In 45 E. Courtney St. Investigators seized 9.63 grams of crack cocaine, 4.73 grams of fentanyl, a quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, a .38-caliber revolver and $1,417 in currency. The following were charged with third-degree and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia: Martin Wisniewski, 64, of Dunkirk; Darryl Watkins, 61, of Dunkirk; Alisha Scinta, 52, of Dunkirk; David Corsi, 33, of Dunkirk; Octavia Brown, 31, of Dunkirk; Heather Payne, 31, of Dunkirk; Alex Santiago, 47, of Dunkirk; Sonia Mosley, 35, of Dunkirk, Jahnie Hamilton, 25, of the Bronx, Wade Pfleuger, 42, of Forestville, Delani Williams, 21, of Buffalo, Carrie Haas, 40, of Fredonia, Kristian Wright, 22, of Sinclairville, and Andre Thomas, 29, of Buffalo.

At 31 E. Courtney St., Investigators seized, 14.54 grams and 54 packages of fentanyl, 23.04 grams of crack cocaine, 48 dosage units of Suboxone, an electronic stun gun, scales and packaging for the distribution of narcotics, a .25-caliber handgun and $3,546.00 of currency. Preston Lawrence, 29, of Rochester and Haley Greenawalt, 21, of Jamestown were charged with four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth- and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

All subjects were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department where they were to be arraigned in city court on charges.

Both of these investigations are ongoing and additional charges to be filed at a later date.
